     Objectives

 

  • Provide a Peninsular Indian perspective to the security discourse in India, and Indian perspective at various forums on issues relating to South and Southeast and East Asia. Peninsular India includes the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu.

  • Focus on comprehensive security to include non-traditional aspects such as food, health, environmental, economic, water, energy, societal and political security.

  • Promote human security, i.e., the safety, honour and wellbeing of the citizen.

  • Develop and build capacity in younger generation to study, think and research on issues affecting National Security.
